The Committee of Seventy (America’s oldest election oversight organization) is currently seeking volunteers for the November 6 Election Day. The program uses volunteer support from trained citizens who help keep a watchful eye on the election process.
Citizen teams of two to three people are assigned to a portion of the city, and visit polling places to address the concerns of disenfranchised voters, and defer larger cases to the appropriate entities.
One-hour training sessions will be held at the Committee of Seventy’s office.
If you have a group of 15 or more, we can schedule a training at a location and time convenient to you.
Tuesday, October 23rd, 5:30 pm or 7:30 pm
Wednesday, October 24th, 5:30 pm or 7:30 pm
Saturday, October 27th, 11 am or 1 pm
Tuesday, October 30th, 12 pm
