Got Arts? September 27, 2007

The Chamber just recently launched its 2007-2008 CulturePass, which gives our members discounts to many of the region’s arts and cultural hot spots. I moved to Philadelphia about a year ago, and the CulturePass has been a great way to check out art exhibits, music venues, theater, tours and museums and to explore Philly’s vibrant and diverse arts and cultural community. There are over 40 venues to choose from like the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Mercer Museum, and the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial. And most of the deals are buy-one get-one-free, so it’s super easy to grab a friend or family member and head out for a day or night of arts.
The pass is also great because it helps our nonprofit arts and cultural organizations build their audience and gain exposure within the business community. Supporting the arts is something we’re invested in, which is why we’ve partnered with the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia (ABC) for the past 15 years to build partnerships between business professionals and arts organizations (last year through ABC more than 450 business people volunteered for 200 arts organizations!).
